Fitz Roy. Mother Godess of the Wind by landscapes-flake Fitz Roy. Mother Godess of the Wind by landscapes-flake

Patagonie, Cerro Fitz Roy; the Godess mother of the Winds.

First week of the travel at the other side of the world... I'm alone, and accustom (slowly) myself to my enormous backpack. The first evening, I've been welcomed abstractly and invited to drink some 'mojito' and 'pina'. Then I took one of these bus crossing the crazy Magellan's forest, until the town / village of Puerto Natales, where I stay one day (walking between the small stranges houses (and the dogs) in the wind and the see odors) waiting for a bus with a small place for me ... (and a bigger fot the bag).

Then, the wildlife. The camps in the dark woods, the greens soups with unpalatable noddles, the tee with the pasta's water, the mouses ... and the unbelievable fortress always there... so close. ... With it's stormy demons wlking up every night. I can hear their breath trough the tent. The trees form an alliance to repel them. They're victorious, sometimes. Groaning and creaking. Shadows runs into the woods, undefined entities are moving all around.

And each day, the moutain appears even more closer, more impressive.
I find this place by chance, thanks to the wind that brought me to the ear the sound of a waterfall. One of the awesomes memories of this trip ....

Maybe this one has to be seen in bigger ... : [link]
